MAIMONIDES ACADEMY OF WESTERN CONNECTICUT
located in Danbury, Connecticut at 103 Miry Brook Road
offers fully accredited programs for students in
Nursery School through Grade 5, plus early childhood programs for two-year- olds.

We are the only Jewish day school in Northern Fairfield County as well as Northern Westchester,
Putnam, and Dutchess counties in New York.

We feature small class sizes, taught by a highly experienced faculty. Our educational programs include Music, Computers, Art and Physical Education. Each student's program is tailored to his or her own needs, interests and abilities, an approach that fosters self-confidence and individuality, while also promoting a lifelong love of learning.  In addition, we focus on enhancing each student's social skills and sense of responsibility toward others, as well as instilling Jewish values and traditions, all within the framework of pursuing academic excellence.

Jodi L. Edelstein comes to Maimonides Academy with a strong background in public and private education, curriculum, special education, leadership and supervision. Jodi has taught for 20 years in Special Education in New York, Maryland and Connecticut. She has her BA from Pace University, her MSE from Long Island University, and her permanent leadership and supervision degree, SAS, from Mercy College. Her passion for education is evident through all of her different positions in education including working as professor at Pace University and running her own education consulting business.
